STEVEN Rigg’s 17th league goal of the campaign concluded a rout as Workington ran out 4-1winners against bottom side Blyth Spartans.
Racing into a two-goal lead early on, the hosts were in full control after goals from Efe Ambrose and Ruben Grewal, three minutes apart.
Blyth had shipped five the week prior away at Bamber Bridge and endured a similarly slow start, though history repeating itself wasn’t good for a side who can be mathematically relegated later this month.
