Protect us from ‘safetyism’

YOUR correspondent Russell David, of Bath, (Fans’ Forum, March 2) is an absolute legend. His was the best letter I’ve ever seen in any publication.
The Non-League football community – and society more generally – needs to aggressively push back on the current penchant for group think, quotas and excessive “safetyism”.
I fear that, as a whole, we are on a very slippery slope.
