BAMBER Bridge edged past fellow strugglers Basford United and moved out of the relegation places.
Robbie Cleary, a forward borrowed by Brig from Salford City last month, scored the game’s only goal to make it backto-back wins for Jamie Milligan’s men.
The Canadian was alert on 33 minutes when debutant Finlay Heath’s shot struck a post, dispatching the loose ball from close range.
