AN EARLY goal from Joshua Scott gave Stockton Town the three points in a dour encounter in front of a bumper Broadhurst Park crowd of 2,357,
The gate was boosted on ‘United United Day’ with a joint protest with The 1958 group against the Glazer ownership of Manchester United.
The Anchors grabbed the all-important goal in the fifth minute when a ball from the right found Scott, who fired inside the far post.
From then on, the game turned out to be a dull encounter with neither team producing much of any note.
