MANAGER Ian Deakin accentuated the positives after his Ilkeston side’s draw left them with an outside chance of a playoff place.
Ashton’s defeat meant the gap narrowed a little, although the Derbyshire side visit champions Macclesfield on Saturday.
Deakin accepted the officials’ offside ruling when sub Alex Hardwick thought he had netted a winner in the 90th minute. He also praised FC United for their part in a hard-fought match.
