HEDNESFORD Town are now only two points off the after victory at struggling Kidsgrove Athletic.
Victory in North Staffordshire, coupled with Widnes dropping more points, this time at Mossley, keeps Gavin Hurren’s side within touching distance of the leaders.
Despite the victory, it was Kidsgrove who had the game’s first chance when right-back Kieran Lazenby got forward but his shot was just wide of a post.
