Nugent eases Reds’ worries

A TOUGH week at Borough Park ended on a positive note with Workington easing their relegation worries in the process. The club changed their managerial team in mid-week with Mark Fell stepping down and succeeded by former player, Brian Dawson, who started his caretaker spell with an important win.
But Cables started the better and Workington had to repel early pressure which saw James Foley go close twice. Alex Mitchell then made a crucial save to thwart Kyle Sambor.
