Anchors secure in the play-offs

STOCKTON TOWN secured their playoff place following a score draw with Morpeth Town.
The Anchors headed into the game on a five-match winning streak, which had included five consecutive clean sheets. That run was broken inside ten minutes when Nic Bollado connected with Will Dowling’s free-kick to put Morpeth ahead.
Stockton tried to respond quickly, but Stephen Thompson’s half-volley from a tight angle dipped narrowly wide. Adam Nicholson then delivered an excellent cross that was headed over by Michael Sweet.
