Robbie Savage hailed his side ‘the best ever’ as his record-breaking Macclesfield men saw off Whitby Town to cap off a memorable campaign.
Goals from Rollin Menayese, Danny Elliott, and a Luke Duffy brace saw the Silkmen reach 109 points for the season.
In his first season in management, Savage and his coaching staff secured silverware and broke plenty of records in the process.
With promotion to National League North confirmed, Savage hailed his side as the greatest side ever at this level.
