Rigg on target but Reds rue their luck

STEVEN Rigg’s twice-taken penalty helped Workington collect their first point of the season at the fifth attempt, during a closely-fought contest.
Rigg fired home on the stroke of half-time, after goalkeeper Jordan Eastham saved the initial attempt before referee Sam Ross ruled there had been enroachment and ordered a retake.
It was second time lucky as Rigg sent Eastham the wrong way for the hosts’ second goal this term.
