SHEPSHED Dynamo faced high-flying Rugby Borough in a tense clash in rain-soaked conditions at the Dovecote.
Dynamo paraded new signing Jack Samples, signed on dual registration from Quorn, at left-back in their starting side, while Rugby Borough’s bench included new faces Amar Sandhu and Lindon Meikle respectively.
The early action offered little until Shepshed broke the Borough defensive line through Samples and Jude Collins’ 16th-minute link-up and cross from the left that found Jack Rogers at the far post. ...
