The hosts had a chance to take the lead on 55 minutes, only for their leading scorer Joe Duckworth to shoot high from 12 yards.
He will have felt even worse when debutant Cole Hyde met Sonny Reeves’ back-post cross with a header to put Colls in front shortly afterwards.
