■ LOUGHBOROUGH ended their wait for a first point away from home by thrashing out-of-sorts Lichfield.
The Scholars did not look back from when Hussein Issa applied a finishing touch to Connor Keene’s cross inside five minutes.
Marcus Gilpin’s free-kick crept over the line after striking the crossbar to make it 2-0, and the visitors moved further ahead when Issa doubled his personal tally with an angled shot.
