HALLAM dominated the early stages of the game, with Brodie Litchfield scoring in the 16th minute, and nearly doubling the lead after 28 minutes.
Consett, who beat Hallam 4-0 in the FA Trophy last month, levelled after 49 minutes when Matty Todd latched onto a loose ball and rifled home from the edge of the box, sparking wild away-end celebrations.
The second half crackled with end-to-end action.
