IN A pulsating encounter at the Trustmark Group Stadium, Leek Town salvaged a point in the most dramatic fashion against Hebburn Town on a crisp October afternoon.
It was hosts Hebburn who struck the first blow, Ethan Wood giving them a 24th-minute lead.
However, Leek were back on terms five minutes later through Connor Heath, whose persistence paid dividends.
His initial strike was parried superbly by keeper Dan Cameron, only for the forward to loop a header over the stranded stopper and level at 1-1.
