■ PONTEFRACT edged a hard-fought win away at Bridlington.
The visitors set the tempo early, with Sinfield and Joe Lumsden both drawing good saves from Bridlington keeper Josh Render.
Their pressure paid off after 32 minutes when Lumsden reacted quickest to a long throw from Jack Greenhough to glance in at the far post.
Despite dominating the first half, the Colls were pegged back just six minutes after the restart – a defence-splitting pass found Ahmed Salam in space on the penalty spot, and he calmly slotted home.
