■ LUKE Brooksbank’s first-half goal was enough to ease Silsden to victory at Grimsby Borough.
It could have been completely different as just seconds beforehand, Grimsby saw a Sam Topliss penalty saved by Tommy Brown.
The ball was cleared up to Brooksbank who slotted the ball past Sebastian Auton.
After the break, Grimsby came out on top looking for an equaliser with midfielder Rio Molyneaux dictating play with some lovely passing, but no one was able to get on the end of them.
