■ LIAM Murphy’s goal proved enough for Anstey to see off Loughborough.
David Nugent, who played for nearby Leicester City as well as Bury, Preston and Portsmouth, arrived at Anstey as a player-coach during the week, and he came on in the closing stages for Courey Grantham.
It was Grantham who provided the assist for the goal when he played a delightful through ball to Murphy.
Loughborough goalkeeper Jude Sadler hesitated as he came off his line, and it allowed Murphy to score after 17 minutes.
