JOE Thomas inspired a second-half recovery by Stafford Rangers to deny Runcorn Linnets a victory.
The attacker had only recently returned from a long-term shoulder injury and Rangers were happy to see him back.
Thomas scored an equaliser for Boro after 69 minutes to follow a neat assist for Andy Burns to tap in for 2-1 shortly after the interval.
It rocked the visitors, who had taken the lead inside 60 seconds when Naim Arsan made the most of a defensive error to lob an opening goal over stranded goalkeeper Arron Davies.
