A RICHLY entertaining encounter on the east coast ended with honours even.
Cleethorpes started in the ascendancy and had a couple of chances. However, Lancaster keeper Brad Kelly was alert to deny both Aaron Braithwaite and the impressive on-loan Max Brogan.
Backed by a good-sized travelling support, City seized the initiative on 13 minutes. Steven Yawson converted a fluent attack with a precise low finish under Ollie Battersby.
It could have been 2-0shortly afterwards but a Yawson rocket cannoned to safety off the upright.
