Archie aces debut test as Brig climb up table

ARCHIE Lang ensured it was debut delight for his new club Bamber Bridge, netting a 63rd-minute matchwinner as they held firm with a narrow victory over fellow strugglers Prescot Cables.
The talented midfielder joined the club from North West Counties First Division North side Thornton Cleveleys on Saturday morning and by 5pm, he was their new hero.
Credit must be given to new teammate Kofi Moore, who did well in the build-up to beat his man before driving towards the area and playing low for Lang in the area, slotting home beyond Cab...
