GARFORTH emerged with a comprehensive win from sodden Silsden in one of only four NPL East fixtures not to be decimated by the downpour.
The Miners once again showed that they are a much more potent away team this season, bouncing back from last week’s disappointing home defeat to Blyth Town.
Charlie Marshall put the visitors ahead after just five minutes, with Max Tweddle adding a second from the spot before half-time.
