■ BOOTLE inflicted the heaviest defeat of the season on Mossley.
After an even opening start, the visitors saw Jak McGowan go off injured. His replacement, Courtney Duffus, scored within 10 seconds of coming on. He then doubled his tally and Bootle’s lead, capitalising on some poor defending in the corner.
The Lilywhites got back into the game when Oumar Camara stretched out a leg to turn home a deflected free-kick just before half-time. The second-half again started evenly, but another mistake saw Stephen Edmondson tap into an empty net. Af...
