LEAGUE leaders Redcar turned in an awesome and ruthless display as they created history with a romping victory at Ashington, who suffered their heaviest defeat at Woodhorn Lane.
The Teessuders were in total control from the first whistle, but it wasn’t until the 18th minute when they took the lead through John Howard. Further goals came before the interval from Adam Boyes, Oscar Fletcher and Rio May.
