■ BOTH teams produced an entertaining derby draw as conditions deteriorated as the rain turned the pitch into a quagmire. The first chance fell to the visitors with Kaiman Anderson firing just wide with Newcastle responding with Joel Jones having his goalbound shot deflected for a corner. Josh Bowden bent an effort wide before Anderson had an effort saved by Joe Slinn.
Conditions worsened in the second half, but Lewis Brown lit up the stadium with a 30-yard screamer that flew into the top corner with Scott Moloney given no chance.
