IN the battle of two teams struggling near the bottom end of the table, it was Coventry Sphinx who came away with a victory.
As a result, Rugby Town are now two points from safety at the bottom of the league, with just two months of the season left.
The breakthrough came with ten minutes to go when Jared Bradshaw found the back of Xander Grieves’ net for his just his second league goal of the season.
