■ CHASETOWN ended a sequence of four defeats with a narrow victory against a Darlaston side featuring 11 changes from their previous outing seven days earlier.
The game’s decisive moment arrived with eight minutes left when Luke Yates blocked an attempted clearance by goalkeeper James Carr and watched the ball change course into the net.
Substitute Kevin Spinelli ought to have doubled the lead shortly afterwards, but failed to convert.
