BASFORD registered a narrow win at Corby thanks to Nyle Blake’s early goal.
Blake turned in Jack Thomas’ cross after only two minutes for what turned out to be the only goal of the game.
Ryan Ebanks cleared an effort off the line to preserve the lead, and Theo Avery pulled off a good save to stop Jordy Hallam’s free-kick from extending the lead.
Hallam shot over the bar with a good chance after Dameer Rose’s dangerous cross was cleared.
