CARLTON strengthened their position at the top of the league table with a hard-fought victory over Anstey.
Niall Hylton and Jason Law grabbed the goals for the league leaders, who stretch their advantage over the second-placed Nomads to a mammoth 14 points in the title race.
Both sides approached the game with intensity, leading to a combative opening period in which challenges flew in across the pitch.
