DABBERS AND CITIZENS GAME ABANDONED

NANTWICH saw their game with Darlaston abandoned in the 71st minute with the hosts leading 3-1.
A statement on the hosts’ website said the abandonment came about due to “an alleged inappropriate comment from a member of the crowd towards a Darlaston player”.
Joel Connolly’s whipped corner caused havoc for Tom Beeby, who sliced his punch into his own net.
After some head tennis in the Darlaston box, Alex Panter reacted quickly and pulled off an audacious overhead kick to double their lead.
