■ GRIMSBY earned a cru-win in their race for cial survival while damaging Ossett’s in the process.
The visitors took an early lead through Josh Venney, which they doubled through Edwin Essel.
Ossett had a claim for a penalty just before half-time when Jackie Crook got bought down in the box, which the referee instantly waved away.
Two minutes before the break Ossett got their goal as Josiah Dyer scored on his
debut. More drama happened in added time when Tom Sawyer was shown a red card after bringing down Jack Degruchy as the last man.
