■ COLESHILL took another giant step towards securing a play-off spot with a hard-fought victory over relegation-threatened Coventry Phoenix.
Marvellous Onabirekhanlen’s penalty on the half-hour was enough to seal a third successive league win for the Colemen.
But time is running out for the Sphinx to turn around their fortunes at the other end of the table, a fifth successive loss sending them tumbling into the bottom four.
