Ambassadorial Role At Swansea For Lee Trundle

LEE TRUNDLE, who spent the final two months of last season at , has returned to Swansea City as their first club ambassador.

The 36-year-old striker has represented a number of sides over the course of his career but his best known and most prolific spell was with the Swans between 2003 and 2007.

He made over 150 appearances during that time, averaging over a goal every two games for the Swans.

Trundle joined Marine in March this year after spells with Bristol City, Neath, Preston North End and and made an instant impact, netting on his debut against .

Lee TrundleThe Liverpool-born frontman has now moved back to the Liberty Stadium to fill a role that will see him work with the Swans' first-team squad on community and charity projects, host matchday hospitality and assist in coaching at the Welsh club's academy.

He is excited by the new challenge with last season's Capital One Cup winners and told their website: “Ever since I left the club for Bristol City way back in 2007 I always said that I wanted to come back at some stage in any capacity.
