Spartans Add A Defender

Centre-back Danny Parker has signed a deal with Northern Premier League club Blyth Spartans.

CENTRE-BACK Danny Parker has signed a deal with Northern Premier League club Blyth Spartans.

The 22-year-old joins the Croft Park club from Northern League Division One side Bishop Auckland, where he played under Blyth assistant manager Colin Myers.

Speaking about his move, Parker said: “I can’t wait to get involved in this standard of football.

“I’ve been playing Northern League and it’s a good league, but this is even better and I can’t wait to get started.”
