Stanley Debutant Excels On Clitheroe Debut

CLITHEROE completed the loan signing of Accrington Stanley goalkeeper Andrew Dawber in time for him to make his debut on Tuesday night.

Dawber, who is a product of the Stanley youth system, enjoyed a fantastic debut, keeping a clean sheet and winning Man of the Match in a 2-0 victory.

The 18-year-old will spend a month with the Northern Premier League First Division North club and is set to make his second appearance for them away at New Mills on Saturday.
