STRIKER Niall Cummins has joined Curzon Ashton from their Northern Premier League Division One North rivals Burscough.

The former AFC Blackpool frontman has only scored twice this term but has contributed 11 assists for the Linnets.

He finished as their top scorer last term and two of his goals came against Curzon in a 5-2 win at the Tameside Stadium.

Cummins is delighted to have joined the Blues and told their website: “I’m absolutely over the moon to be joining

“You don’t have to look very far in the table to see how well Curzon are doing.

“I knew straight away that if Curzon were interested, I knew what my thoughts would be and I would be saying yes straight away.

“I can’t wait to get started now. The lads are on fire, still in the FA Trophy, flying up the league with games in hand so can’t wait!”
