BLYTH SPARTANS have loaned out Phil Airey and Marc Lancaster.

Airey – formerly of Newcastle United – has scored seven times in 59 appearances for Spartans joining them in August last year.

He has now been sent on loan to Whitley Bay and will spend a month with the Northern League Division One club.

Lancaster has only featured six times for Blyth since his arrival from Berwick Rangers.

The 20-year-old has now joined Morpeth Town, who play in the same division as Whitley Bay, for a month.
