CORBY ground out a victory against a hard-working Kidlington in a game that only just survived an inspection.
Corby created a good chance in their first attack but Jordon Crawford dragged his shot wide.
They almost scored on the stroke of half-time but Elliot Sandy’s shot from point-blank range was blocked and cleared.
The hosts finally took the lead just past the hour mark when a through ball found John Dean and he stabbed home.
A chance for the visitors saw Lewis Coyle fire just over the bar when he was in a good position.
