PEARCE POPS UP TO SEND GENERALS TO THE TOP

WITH the majority of the top teams not in league action, Chesham took advantage and moved to the top of the table after a goal in each half proved too much for Farnborough.
Chesham grabbed the upper hand from trhe off and had an early chance when Adam Martin’s header was tipped over by keeper Liam Beach.
Beach was again called into action to tip over Dave Pearce’s shot.
But Boro soon forced their way back into the game and tested home keeper Ben Goode beat away through Jordan Alawode-Williams and Connor Cullen.
