STRUGGLING Ely City aim to have a new manager in place by Christmas.
Brady Stone, who had already announced his intention to step down from the Eastern Counties Premier division side by the end of the year, sat on a panel which interviewed four applicants for the job on Tuesday.
Stone said the interviews went well and that his replacement would be appointed imminently. He said that all four realised the budgetary restraints and that fi nances were tight.
