LOWESTOFT took a huge leap towards ensuring their survival as they claimed a first win in five games and pushed St Ives a little deeper into the mire.
The game started in explosive fashion with each side being awarded a penalty inside the first 12 minutes.
Ives’ Robbie Parker was denied by Luis Tibbles but Malachi Linton beat debutant keeper Brad Lashley for the visitors.
