LOWESTOFT took a huge leap towards ensuring their survival as they claimed a first win in five games and pushed St Ives a little deeper into the mire.
The game started in explosive fashion with each side being awarded a penalty inside the first 12 minutes.
Ives’ Robbie Parker was denied by Luis Tibbles but Malachi Linton beat debutant keeper Brad Lashley for the visitors.
Both sides missed chances in an open first half but the telling blow was struck by Connor Deeks just seconds before the break as he slammed home a loose ball from 20 yard...
