SAM Bell’s late equaliser extended Yate Town’s unbeaten league run to four games as their dogged perseverance paid off in a draw with Poole Town.
It was no more than the home side deserved as, with the greater share of possession in the second period, they worked hard to break down a Poole side happy to sit on their single goal advantage.
The visitors almost went in front inside the first five minutes, home goalkeeper Adam Forster needing to be alert to tip over a strong close-range header from Will Spetch.
