THEO Lewis’ superb smashed finish gave Gosport all three points against Truro.
The game started with neither side having any shots on goal for the first 20 minutes and the game being run at a pedestrian pace.
The Boro started to attack down the left with Michael Elechi coming close from a burst from left-back.
The only other chance of the half fell to a Truro City striker who hit the ball straight at Kingsley Latham, the Boro keeper, with neither side able to break the deadlock by the time the half-time whistle was blown by the referee.
