CHESHAM went back to the top after securing a comfortable win over mid-table Merthyr.
Chesham took control of the game from the start, although Merthyr had the fi rst shot of note but Ian Traylor blazed high and wide.
Chesham began to stretch the visitors’ defence and Bradley Clayton’s shot was tipped over impressively by keeper Alex Harris.
Zak Joseph then had a shot kicked off the line after Billy Adcock’s corner had been dummied by Steve Brown.
