A GOAL in each half saw Wimborne win against nine men for the second successive Saturday.
The Dorset side made the perfect start with a goal after four minutes. Luke Burbidge’s corner was headed on by Joe Byrne to Sam Bayston who rifled the ball past keeper Myles Bowman from outside the far post.
Playing with the strong wind behind them, Beaconsfield were unable to convert neat approach play into definite chances. Their best opportunity came on 45 minutes when James Ewington placed a gifted under-hit backpass wide of the post.
