TRAYLOR IS BEHIND ALL MARTYRS’ GOOD WORK

BLACKFIELD recovered from their six-goal hammering at Hayes & Yeading in midweek by seeing out a niggly affair against Merthyr without any further damage.
In truth they were lucky to do so, as Merthyr did everything but score with Ian Traylor at the heart of most of their good work. He went close after only five minutes after a great lofted ball from Lee Lucas, and although Blackfield hit the sidenetting after the Martyrs failed to clear their lines, Merthyr came back once again, with Corey Jenkins causing trouble on two occasions.
