New signing Matt Briggs believes in Gosport Borough

EXPERIENCED new signing Matt Briggs reckons Southern League Premier South outfit Gosport Borough have a ‘good chance’ in the coming season.

The 30-year-old centre-back became the youngest player in Premier League history when he featured for Fulham at the age of 16 years and 68 days in 2007.

The Guyana captain has since gone on to play for the likes of Millwall, Colchester and Chesterfield and most recently had a spell in Denmark.

“With that balance of youth and experience, we have a good chance this year,” he said.
