WELWYN Garden City took the spoils in a five-goal thriller at Loop Meadow.
Ryan Doherty opened the scoring inside two minutes with a header from a corner to put the Citizens ahead.
They were on top before Connor Barrett levelled for Didcot with a lovely finish.
Welwyn grew into the game and went into halftime in the lead through Keenleyside’s deflected strike.
Jordan Watson made it three before the hour, but a fine goal from Connor Ferguson pulled one back and made for a tense finish as the visitors held on.
