■LARKHALL bounced straight back from their first loss of the season with a hard-fought home win.
It was mostly about the home side in a breathless first half, bar an effort that Shaun Semmens in the Larkhall goal had to parry early on.
The pressure paid off after 20 minutes when winger Alya Corrick scored after a one-two on the edge of the box with centre forward Sam Crumb.
Just a few minutes later Alex Lambert very nearly doubled the lead but his strike hit the crossbar, and then the Highworth defence had to block a series of chances.
