■ A LATE Harry Jones goal earned Aylesbury a point after a pulsating encounter.
An end-to-end game got off to the worst start for the hosts, finding themselves a goal down inside seven minutes, Gavin James opening the scoring. Two minutes later Jack Wood rose highest from a corner to nod past Leigh Bedwell and double the lead.
Didcot halved the deficit when Jamar Smith fired past Archie Davis.
Just before the hour, Josh Hedges played a pass to feed Smith his second of the game. Connor Barrett later put Didcot in front.
